Tribal Council is an elimination ceremony that usually happens every third night in the game of Survivor, where the contestants are being held accountable for their actions in the game, usually with one person being voted out of the tribe.
Tribal Council starts with everyone in attendance placing their torch at the back of the tribal council area, or, if it is the person's first tribal counil, they will approach the flame with a torch to get fire:
"This is part of the ritual of Tribal Council because in this game fire represents life. As long as you have fire, you are still in this game. When your fire's gone, so are you."
From there, the host will generally ask questions to a specific castaway and they are encouraged to answer it there and then. From there, they can have open discussion and have around 24 hours to vote. A castaway may change their vote once at during the allocated time. Votes are submitted through the castaway's Confession Thread.
Once all the votes have been sent and counted, the host will reveal them in a way that adds the most suspence and tension. The person with the highest number of votes will be asked to leave the tribal counil area and their torch is snuffed.
- Andros are the first tribe in NK ORG history to attend Tribal Council
- Despite this, Andros never attended another Tribal Council.
- Adam is the first person to have his torch snuffed.
